Windows can be simply replaced or redesigned to take bays, greenhouse or box windows. Conventional entrances can be revolutionised by the use of sliding, French or bi-fold doors. Consider opening up rooms by replacing windows with doors to the outside.
Before, During and After
The 'before' photo is of a typical corner window of a summer hill stone house. It shows aging, common for homes of this age. If you have one of these don't worry this is an ideal replacement window candidate!
The 'during' photo is showing us the home with the window having been removed and ready for the new joinery to be installed. This shows how the hole is cleaned out totally in preparation for the new joinery.
The 'after' photo is the finished external product complete with corner and head flashings. Please note that the window is silicone sealed against the house and the joinery to complete the weatherproofing process.
The 'inside' photo in the sequence shows the interior of the window once it has been fitted. The new pine reveal and architraves have been painted by the client. The new architraves give the new joinery a new fresh, clean look.
